This week we celebrated the life of May Dooley. We did a great show with May called From the Field the ABC’s of IEQ, EMF’s, Mold and More on 3-10-17 just prior to our YouTube years. To honor her memory we added photos and commentary to that show and are replaying it today.
May Dooley was Principal of EnviroHealth Consulting, Inc. of Hummelstown, PA. She started her career as a secondary science teacher prior to going into home inspection and indoor environmental health consulting in the mid 80’s. She has since completed over 3,000 residential and commercial IEQ inspections in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast US. May was one of those people that never stopped learning and that is how we met her. She attended our Healthy Buildings Conferences before COVID shut them down. May’s MS in Secondary Science Education from Hofstra University and her MA in English from the State University of New York at Stony Brook were great preparation for a career she never envisioned.
