Today's guest on IAQradio, Bud Offermann is both a mechanical engineer and a CIH.  Listeners were able to hear this opinions on a variety of IAQ related issues: ventilation, VOCs, green buildings, etc.  I gleaned the following nuggets myself:

When asked about net zero energy buildings? "buildings are for people" and "health trumps energy"

On the subject of green building and the US Green Building Council

"It takes courage to look at yourself and how you are performing."

Exhaust ventilation removes all types of contaminates."

"When higher levels of carbon monoxide are found indoors than are found outdoors this is an indication of a significant problem."

"Knowing the individual VOCs is more important than knowing the total level of volatile organic compounds."
